The Kaïbou Group offers you a turnkey solution. You don’t need to create an SPV or register for taxes. We manage and finance the tax credits for production services (CISP).

Detailed services

Incorporating/Registration

  • Registration of your production with the Federal agency, CAVCO (Canadian Audio-Visual Certification Office)

  • Registration of your production with all applicable Provincial organizations

  • Adaptating your schedule at the CISP taxation rate

  • Ensure eligibility of the production costs with follow ups in the accounting system

  • Audit production costs and of all eligible costs.

  • Validation and monitoring of the eligibility of the hired workforce by an independent expert.

Accounting and Tax System

  • Prepare yearly production financial statements

  • Prepare and submit tax claim returns (Federal and Provincial)

  • Track, follow and manage Revenu Quebec and Canada Revenu Agency controls requests

Funding

Producers have the options between 

  • Kaibou financing up to 100% of the value of tax credits at banking costs.

  • Kaibou financing 100% of both Federal and Provincial taxes (GST and PST).

Additional

  • Kaibou can also pre-sell your project to broadcasting companies.

  • Kaibou offers recruting assitance for additional skills such as Screenwriters, Storyboard Artists, Supervisor, Composer, Talents, Production Manager, Line Producer.
